Accounts Assistant, part time, 9 months fixed term contract
3 days a week Wednesday to Friday (24 hours per week) or half day 5 days a week (25 hours per week)
Period: Sept 13th 2017 until June 22nd 2018.
Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 (pro rata) per year depending on experience

We are looking to appoint a part-time Finance Assistant to join our small team at Retouch and Digital.
Retouch and Digital is a high-end fashion retouching company. Our client base includes some of the world’s most renowned fashion brands and celebrated fashion photographers.
The successful candidate will be required to assist the Studio/Finance Manager with the day-to-day management and maintenance of the office.
-Credit Control – chase clients for payment and make sure that aged debtors ledger is up to date
-Produce quarterly financial reports for the Studio/Finance Manager
-Responsible for VAT return and EC Sales submission
-Make general bank payments
-Monthly credit card and bank reconciliations
-Daily monitoring of the accounts receivables
-Input purchases invoices into XERO Accounting software
-Input time sheet from jobs and clients using excel
-Contact HMR&C when necessary to resolve any company queries
-Match purchases invoices to PO and DN to ensure items ordered and/or delivered are the agreed price
-Process expenses enter petty cash transactions
-Crosscheck and control employees travel expenses
-Assist in HR duties
-Place orders for office stationery, office equipment and materials
-Keep office records updated on Xero on a regular basis (staff contact details, client/supplier details)
-Reception duties – meet and greet
-General secretarial/administrative tasks
-When necessary book couriers / bikes / cabs
The successful candidate will need to be a highly organized, hardworking and motivated self-starter. A good communicator and quick learner, they will be able to demonstrate how they have shown initiative to achieve results and pride themselves on delivering quality work with strong attention to detail.
-Proficient on Microsoft Excel and Word
-2 years administrative and bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small company
-AAT qualified or part-qualified accounting technician is an advantage
-Knowledge of Xero accounting software
