The Team Our Insurance Transformation team, is at the heart of supporting our clients in shaping, planning and delivering critical business change. The team focuses on transforming the performance of organisations helping them focus on the customer to drive growth and implement an operating model that is efficient. Our clients are experiencing fundamental shifts in customer expectations and behaviour. Mistrust, the rapid adoption of new digital technologies, the emergence of non-traditional competitors and more stringent regulations mean that today’s Insurance customers are more empowered, demanding and price conscious.

The Role

We are seeking a Customer & Digital Senior Manager to deliver customer transformations and customer improvement engagements in the Insurance sector including customer journey design, customer data/insight and performance measurement, customer/digital marketing strategies and sales and service transformations including CRM implementations. This is a high profile role, with accountability for the development and delivery of the KPMG Customer & Digital proposition within Insurance. The role will also require supporting major bids and proposals. As a senior manager, the incumbent will be actively supporting our people strategy through coaching and development of team members and acting as a Performance manager for several people.

The Person

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in management consulting as well as experience in:

  • Delivering complex streams of work within customer transformation programmes and/or customer and digital functions
  • Consulting in a transformation programme context
  • Designing and implementing data-driven customer strategies and knowledge of how these disciplines are emerging in the Insurance sector are important qualifications as well.
  • The Insurance sector (desirable but not essential), as well as other sectors
  • Customer/digital programmes and innovations
  • Delivering large scale organisational changes with skills and knowledge of relevant methods including customer experience journey design, lean, customer data analysis and performance measurement, culture change, technology change and/or digital change
  • Managing people

The Insurance Transformation practice focuses on the delivery of strategic changes that encompass innovation, customer experience, growth transformation and large scale cost reduction/efficiency improvements.
