The Role

Working as a an integral part of the Application Development Maintenance (ADM) group, you will be required to work closely with the developers, supports teams and management to ensure key business systems remain stable.

  • Re-creation, analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of defects
  • Liaise with other developers and support staff on corrective actions or viable workarounds to incidents
  • Executing scheduled or unscheduled tasks relating to operational maintenance and monitoring of applications
  • Monitor and address issues with ETL and SSIS packages
  • Code reviews, unit test coverage and quality control
  • Overseeing handover of systems from Dev ‘Build’ to Dev ‘Run’  
  • Builds and develops positive constructive relationships inside and outside KPMG
  • Assessing problems from multiple angles to ensure all relevant issues are considered when making decisions
  • Proactively driving forward new and creative ideas which benefit the client

The Person

  • Experience supporting Enterprise applications
  • Ability to pick up and understand new technologies quickly
  • Possesses strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Full stack developer, understands each layer.
  • Experience working in a KANBAN, Agile or SCRUM environments 
  • Takes time to learn about other people and their experiences and how to apply this learning
  • Demonstrates curiosity and open mindedness to new ideas approaches and perspectives
  • Actively engages with others in order to address their views/concerns
