WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  1. Providing support to the company, trustees, employees and the in-house pensions team on the UK DB, UK DC, ROI DB and ROI DC pension plans.
  2. Producing, processing and reconciling data to provide to external pension administrators, pension providers, consultants and actuaries to facilitate the ongoing admin of the pension funds and comply with pensions legislative requirements, and to facilitate the ongoing admin of insurance plans, including data on overseas assignments, long term sickness, AVCs, changes to investment requests etc
  3. Processing of queries, calculations and requests to and from external administrators, pension providers, actuaries, consultants, Global Business Services (“GBS”), and employees
  4. Monitoring of external administrators and providers response times and performance against their SLAs to ensure that issues and queries are resolved and in a timely manner
  5. Requesting, implementing and complying with legal advice on trustee matters
  6. Organisation of facilities for full Trustee Board Meetings, sub-committee meetings, assisting with the production of meeting packs
  7. Minutes taking and production, from the various Trustee and sub-committee meetings to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with legal requirements
  8. Assistance with the production of communication material sent to all pension fund members
  9. Completion of surveys and legal submissions to the Pensions Regulator, DWP, HMRC and PLSA on behalf of the Trustees
  10. Responsible for logging all incoming queries, monitoring and responding to 2nd line pensions escalated enquiries from employees via MyHR automated HR system and from GBS, from retirees and from 3rd party administrators, pension providers and external consultants/actuaries via email, telephone or external mail
  11. Maintain all company pensions files and member data in line with Data Protection requirements
  12. Collaborate with GBS to maintain the documents on the company’s employee self-service portal to ensure all forms and documents issued to employees are the current versions.
  13. Organisation of facilities Pensions Consultative Committee meetings, Retiree Contact Group meetings – including booking rooms, organising facilities, assistant with the preparation of meeting packs

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

  • Strong pensions technical knowledge in both DB and DC schemes essential for the UK, and desirable for ROI
  • Previous experience of working as either a senior pensions administrator either in a third party administrators or in-house or as a junior pension consultant essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
