Partnership Officer-TMO, Open to flexibility

PO2: Starting salary £34,254 pa rising in annual increments to £36,912 pa incl LW

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lambeth’s Council where housing is a clear priority for the borough in achieving strong and sustainable neighbourhoods. A new housing strategy has been developed which covers all areas relating to housing such as increasing supply, improving quality of homes, housing for vulnerable residents and ensuring housing works in partnership internally and with other stakeholders to achieve its aims.

Lambeth Council currently has 10 Tenant Managed Organisations (TMO’s) that provide Housing services on behalf of the LB of Lambeth under various management agreements. Tenants have a right to take on the management of the council housing where they live under right to manage legislation. As a Cooperative council Lambeth is very proud of its TMO’s and the high levels of satisfaction received from its residents.

This role is within the small TMO Client team who support TMOs in the borough to ensure that the Council’s strategic obligations in respect of TMO management and performance are discharged effectively and efficiently. This role analyses data, monitors performance and support the TMO’s through partnership working to enforce the terms of the Management Agreement so that they deliver to an agree standard and are continuously improving.

Candidates should have a strong background in performance management and contract management as well as a sound knowledge of housing management issues.

If you believe that you have the skills and commitment to making a positive contribution to this team and our TMO’s continual improvement programme then we would like to hear from you.

The closing date for receiving the completed application forms is Sunday 3 September 2017 at midnight.

Interviews will be held week commencing 11 September 2017.
