Performance Analyst, Open to flexibility

The role will provide insight and visibility on day to day performance and issues on all Operational Measures (e.g. material usage, waste and throughput). The job holder will develop reporting tools in order to improve understanding across the business and is responsible for highlighting trends or specific performance issues. The role supports Unit Mangers with required periodic SOL (Source of Loss) reporting and completes ad hoc project based analysis. The role also supports the completion of daily Production Execution, during busy periods and holiday cover.

  • Reviewing variances and proactively working with the Operations team to develop corrective actions.
  • Contributing to Source of Loss Reviews with required reporting, trend analysis and action completion.
  • Be responsible for analysis of stock count variances and creation/maintenance of appropriate allocation models.
  • Partnering with Plant Finance Team to ensure timely and accurate completion of periodic plant performance reporting.
  • Working collaboratively with Operations teams to develop reporting improvements and adapt as required for the impact of innovation and renovation.
  • Contributing to ideation sessions for OEE improvement/savings projects, providing data and analysis as required throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting preparation and continuous improvement of Information Centres on plant.
  • Ensuring understanding of all stream reporting requirements in order to provide cover/rotation when required.
  • Completion of Daily Production Execution and Variance Report review as required.



  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of how operational data feeds into overall plant performance
  • Strong technical & analytical skills, especially in use of excel, SAP or similar
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
  • Diverse work experiences also a benefit to role, as work will influence many parts of organisation.
  • Ability to build relationships with different stakeholder groups
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn


  • Educated to Degree level or Masters in a numerate subject
