A unique opportunity has arisen to become a part-time assistant to a successful female entrepreneur in Central London!

I am looking for someone who wants to commit to a great part-time position with a lot of responsibility, but without the fifty (50) hour work-week of most positions. I have created a fun, casual work environment with a lot of autonomy and no micromanagement. The business is ethics-driven and I pride myself on having a workplace with open communication and mutual respect.

Location: Central Working Bloomsbury, 11-13 Bayley Street, London WC1B 3HD (office-based not virtual)

Salary: £10-12 per hour

Hours of work: 16-20 hours per week

Working pattern: Part-time/flexible, ideally during Monday-Wednesday

Start date: October 2017

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Editing and writing - documents, marketing materials, email
  • Manage calendar, email and VM
  • Booking travel and coordinating speaking and/or training material and presentations
  • Bookkeeping, invoice generation, receipt tracking and expenses
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing



  • Experienced in office work - please do not apply if you do not have previous applicable experience 
  • Detail oriented, good with spelling and grammar
  • Accomplished and talented at using a MAC
  • A competent user of Excel and able to handle database management and mail merge
  • Able to support a leader in a fast moving environment
  • Someone who considers themselves clever and gets more done than those around you
  • An individual with a great sense of humour and able to laugh at yourself


  • An excellent writer and editor
  • Design experience an advantage
  • Confident creating PowerPoints, sourcing photos and formatting

  • Sharp, professional, independent and self-motivated


£10-12 per hour salary

Flexible working (with possibility of additional hours as needed)
