Senior Liaison and Recruitment Officer (Agreements), Part time 14 hours/wk (40% FTE)

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,056-£41,163 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance.

The UCL Communications and Marketing division is responsible for maintaining and developing the reputation and profile of the university as a world-leading organisation and as an aspirational choice as a study destination. We co-ordinate communications activity with key internal and external audiences through a range of channels, including the news media, online, print, events and social media and other digital channels. Key target audiences include national and international opinion formers, prospective students, UCL staff and students our local community.

We hold specific responsibility for the recruitment of students and the support of marketing to all prospective student segments. The post holder is responsible for contractual and agreement work with UCL's affiliate partners, summer school partners, and funding bodies. The post holder will maintain and develop relationships with partners as well as with counsellor based organisations.

The post holder is expected to deliver on a broad range of activities within the Student Recruitment Marketing team;  The post holder will also undertake independent recruitment activity in the UK or overseas.

The successful candidate will have qualifications commensurate with education to degree level or
equivalent, including proficiency in English Language and Mathematics to GCSE level or equivalent.

The postholder will have knowledge and experience of higher education in the UK and an understanding of international education issues. Experience in student recruitment agreement and contract work and an understanding of how Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) requirements impact on student recruitment and marketing is also essential.

This vacancy is to cover maternity leave until 17 April 2018.
