Assistant Finance Business Partner, Open to flexibility

Consumer Finance consists of the Group's Motor Finance, Consumer & Commercial Cards, Unsecured Personal Loans, European Retail businesses and the recently acquired MBNA. The division was established in September 2013 to bring greater focus to customer needs in these sectors, and has ambitious growth plans endorsed by the LBG Board and underpinned by significant investment. The Finance team has a critical role in the business's growth agenda and will play an important part in its success in an exciting and fast paced environment requiring flexible and dynamic support.

As Assistant Finance Business Partner within Chief Operating Office (COO) you'll support the delivery of timely and insightful management information to both the COO Executive Committee (Ex Co) and Consumer Finance Divisional Finance teams, enabling effective performance management of the business to support the execution of the strategy.

You'll support the Finance Business Partner, by owning the day to day finances of Consumer Finance COO, ensuring accuracy at all times. Supporting the month end process, including BAU and investment recharge journals and accruals, preparation of finance and business MI, and ensure control procedures are robust.

You'd also offer Business Partnering support to a small number of COO business areas, building and maintaining effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships at Director Level and all levels across these areas and across Consumer Finance

You'll be a Qualified, Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified through experience in Finance role. You'll hold excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive mind, with sound communication skills and may have a track record of producing insightful MI to senior leaders and a desire to further develop your stakeholder management skills. You may already have Business Partnering experience or experience managing relationships with non-Finance colleagues, however not essential.
