Administrative Assistant, part time - 30 hours over 5 days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join the Practice team at Symmetrys Limited.   The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and coordination support to the Office team, enabling the smooth running of our processes. Successful candidates will have past administrative experience and will enjoy delivering high levels of client service with an excellent work attitude. We work in a growing fast paced office in North London.

You will be a creative thinker; with the ability to build strong relationships IT skills are imperative, including database, Excel and financial software. The ability to learn new IT software is essential. You will have a process orientated mind, with excellent organisational and attention to detail skills. This is a permanent opportunity.

Person specification:

  • Education/Experience/Qualifications: Educated to a high standard, with bookkeeping or administrator qualifications.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness to use software packages that are unfamiliar.


  • Database management.
  • Office purchasing.
  • Managing HR records: holidays; sick leave, expenses and timesheets.
  • Filing.
  • Archiving.
  • Processing financial records for our bookkeeper.
  • Credit control duties.
  • Assisting with recruitment.
  • Receptionist duties.
  • General help and a willingness to tackle new and changing tasks.

  • Excellent Client relation skills.
  • An impeccable telephone manner.
