The Brand, the team, the role
Captain Morgan is the fastest growing premium core spirit in Diageo, externally it is the 6th largest premium spirit in the world. Captain Morgan has an aggressive global innovation ambition to deliver, of which this role will play a critical part. The team is made up of 6 people and the role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to transform the way Diageo creates content and in turn making Captain Morgan a top 20 brand across our competitive set behind different outlet driving fun content!
The role requires strong leadership among digital partners, social media outlets and digital agencies and Diageo senior marketing stakeholders. Deep collaboration with and orchestration of internal and external parties. This person needs to deal with the complexity of creating a whole new world for Captain Morgan globally in terms of how the brand shows up in social media, SEO and different digital channels and partners.
This role spans two core areas:
Social Media content creation leadership: Build a social media strategy for Captain Morgan, embracing media first thinking, influencers/PR/hijacks, social listening, data and analytics with clear KPIs.
Lead the development and follow up of the content created by the steering group committee along with the global head of content.
Digital Strategy: Build Global Digital strategy for Captain Morgan, embracing Media First thinking, Influencers/PR/hijacks, Search, Social Listening and clear KPIs.
Lead digital execution across social channels and search
