What impact will you make? 

NSE Cloud is a public cloud hosting platform utilised by our service lines across North and South Europe servicing requests from 14 different geographies embedding compliance and security best practices while enabling our practitioners to innovate on a globally secure platform. To support this, we are recruiting for a Cloud Engagement Delivery Manager to manage delivery of cloud-based solutions on Azure or AWS using a wide range of range of multi cloud services.

Your role

You will be passionate about delivering applications at scale on cloud platforms. You will have a background in the management of engagements using agile delivery methodologies, finance reporting and building client relationships.  You should be dynamic and willing to reach out to colleagues across ITS as we execute our cloud first strategy and agile transformation programme, with a view to agreeing collaboration goals for the benefit of the wider community. 

Responsibilities

  • Managing tasks across diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
  • Responsible for compliance to engagement delivery processes utilising agile methodologies.
  • Provides engagement reporting to both internal and external stakeholders including the monthly financial reporting process and, work with the data analysts to identify potential cost savings for the service owners
  • Supports and guides our cloud delivery teams to achieve on-going delivery success and identify continuous service improvement areas
  • Manages the customer relationship, in terms of agreed delivery scope, providing benefit to both clients and IT Service
  • Works alongside the Business Relationship Management team to prioritise and schedule engagements in line with team capacity
  • Liaises with internal ITS teams (e.g. Cloud Engagement, Architecture, CISO, and Engineering Operations) to ensure customer requests are progressing through the pipeline
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Location: Any Regional Office

Your professional experience

  • Successful project management delivery experience from inception through the business analysis requirements, delivery life-cycle, agreed cost, timescales and quality
  • Established and demonstrable competence as a customer facing engagement role
  • A confident communicator who can identify core messages appropriate for all stakeholder levels and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Someone with a strong commercial focus in all areas of delivery and customer relationship management.
  • Capability to thrive under pressure: you are most comfortable working in a fast moving environment, spinning multiple plates at any one time.
