Support Officer, Part time 21 hours/wk

Salary: £30,780 including London Weighting and all allowances (pro rata)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract 9 months

We’re looking for an admin superstar to support a team in the City of London. The post will support the Director and the team with administrative and secretarial tasks, including but not limited to maintaining diaries, organising meetings, taking minutes and producing high quality documents, as well as updating and maintaining the programme’s web pages. We would expect you to have strong experience in all of these tasks, and be able to hit the ground running.

You will be organised, efficient, polite and courteous. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, which may come from chief executives, elected politicians, members of the public and other organisations, so we need someone who is comfortable talking to a wide variety of different people, and who can communicate clearly.

As this team deals with sexual health transformation in London, we would expect you to be comfortable with the London Sexual Health Programme and its work, and to be prepared to familiarise yourself with the language and terminology of sexual health services. You will also be responsible for discretely handling confidential and sensitive documents, so we will require a background check. An interest in public health would be a strong asset for this part-time role, which would be ideal for someone balancing work with university studies or caring responsibilities.

Closing date 9.00 am on Monday 18 September 2017

Interviews will take place on Friday 22nd September 2017
