Skillcast have an exciting opportunity for a Content Writer to join their team.
Location: UK
Salary: ??30,000 - ??45,000 per annum
Content Writer - Background:
Skillcast provides compliance e-learning to companies in the UK and helps them to create a culture of ethics, inclusivity, responsibility and compliance in their workplace. Our courses are designed to engage, inform and influence employees and drive behavioural change in our clients' organisations. This requires not only good instructional design skills but a clear and persuasive writing style for drawing in and impressing staff with the critical messages our clients want to convey.
We are now looking for full-time/part-time content writers to join our Content team to research, write and review compliance e-learning courses, storyboarding new courses, and supporting our Marketing team with blogs and articles.
Content Writer - Key Responsibilities:
- Write creative and engaging course storyboards with learning activities and assessments
- Review existing courses to update and improve learner experience
- Conduct research to find content on specific topics
- Liaise with subject matter experts
- Keep abreast of regulations and related news to build and update courses, and produce blogs and articles
Content Writer - Key Requirements:
Essential Skills
- Exemplary writing and editorial skills, grammar and attention to detail
- Eye for spotting trends and coming up with content ideas
- Ability to research and digest complex topics, and synthesise information for appropriate audience levels
- Creative flair for writing engaging content to inform and influence
- Organised and methodical approach to projects
- Target-driven, get-things-done attitude
- Ability to learn and follow house style of Skillcast and our clients
- Self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
- Ability to work flexibly across a range of tasks as part of a close and busy team
Desirable Skills
- Degree in English and/or Creative Writing
- Experience of writing e-learning storyboards
- Writing content on regulation, compliance, financial services or HR topics
- Writing blogs and articles for content marketing
