We have an opening for you to grow with us in the Infrastructure and Workplace Solutions team as a Project Manager in Manchester. 

This role will focus on the planning, development and implementation of project efforts within Infrastructure and Workplace. Developing the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Refining requirements, project coordination, development of plans and schedules, resource planning, financial management and project maintenance.

The Infrastructure and Workplace Solutions team is a dynamic and enthusiastic group that designs, develops and delivers solutions that enable employees to work efficiently and effectively leveraging easy to use unified communication and collaboration technology.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as a Project Manager you will be acting as a key expert in the area focusing project management and solution delivery in areas of: Network infrastructure / VoIP Solutions / Compute and Storage Solutions / Video conferencing (Skype) / Meeting rooms / Unified communications / End user devices.

You will help Kellogg grow our business and build on our success by:

  • Planning, development and implementation of projects within Infrastructure and Workplace
  • Developing the project scope, defining project guidelines
  • Obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project
  • Refining requirements, project coordination, development of plans and schedules, resource planning, financial management and project maintenance
  • Responsible for the management of one or more small to medium-sized, moderately complex projects, sub-projects, or completes projects initiated from project lead
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with business owners, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors and key clients. Building, and developing business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Continually managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders to ensure cross business and internal teams are properly aligned throughout the project
  • Developing, and continually updating, project plans and schedules to ensure that the project outcome reflects the goals
  • Managing cost, schedule, scope control, change management and performance for the project

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as the hunger to learn and the passion to contribute to our business, you will need to show evidence of:

Required:

  • Experience Project Management and solution delivery
  • Experience in Change Management program of work, successful change advocate
  • Experience with Infrastructure and Workplace at design and deploy levels
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, and develop relationships business or technical leaders 
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in leading meetings and delivering effective presentations
  • A history of being a self-starter, innovative and creating success in ambiguous situations
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and delivering results through influence
  • A passion for excellence and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, confidently guiding individuals and teams 
  • Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and organizational advancement
