Bath based Residential Developer Kersfield are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team of 6. The role reports to the Managing Director & CFO.  This is a 12 month fixed term contract, with part-time hours flexible over 2 or 3 days per week. The business is growing and as such there may be potential for a permanent role in the future.

It is highly desirable that you will be qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA with experience as a Management Accountant/Financial Controller, with strong analytical and excellent communication skills.

Key accountabilities include;

Business performance reporting for c6-8 live development jobs including budget and forecast variances. Supporting the production of budgets and financial viabilities for land acquisitions.

Medium term cashflow and capital requirements, working with the Directors to produce overhead budgets, Sage and Excel project revenue reports.

Quarterly management accounts for all companies and consolidated management accounts. VAT returns and Corporation Tax analysis.

Working as part of a small team in a supportive and friendly working environment in central bath offices, we offer 25 days leave (pro-rata) as well as flexible working arrangements.

You will need broad experience of commercial businesses, with experience of development or project accounting desirable but not essential. Experience of reporting to senior management both verbally and in written board reports. You will be confident in analysing business performance and strong influencing skills and effective business relationship management.
