Finance Assistant

We're recruiting for Finance Assistant with a "Payroll Credit Control" background to be part of the Finance Team at E3 Recruitment based at Head Office in Lindley, HuddersfieldThe Payroll professional will report into the Finance Controller and be responsible for the smooth running of the weekly payroll which will entail processing 400+ timesheets. E3R have the technology to run automated timesheets, so part of the role will be checking process with some manual timesheet data entry.

You will join a small finance team and be office based integrating with all 27 employees within the company. We're currently operating social distance measures in the office which includes working from home, but we have been provided Key Worker Supply Status.

Finance

Month end journals

Manage Fixed Asset Register/ depreciation cals

Balance Sheet - Reconciling assigned balance sheet codes

Banking - Daily posting and reconciling

Reporting - Client reporting production

Credit Control

Manage own ledger ensuring cash collected within payment terms

Dealing with queries as quickly as possible

Distributing Invoices/ Statements/ reminders from system

Weekly Debt report production

Highlight any issues/ impacts to cashflow to Financial Controller

Payroll

Temporary staff (mainly automated)

Submitting all statutory returns & completing tax year end process

Pension upload and administration

Intermediary Reporting

Carry out weekly checks & reports

Skills Required

Previous experience in Payroll and Credit Control is essential

Strong IT skills including Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables etc) is essential

Excellent time management and ability to manage own workload

Package

Salary - ??25k - ??30k depending on experience

Hours - 37.5hrs, Mon to Fri
