Systems Thinking Senior Manager, Open to flexibility

The Digital Transformation Programme is one of the largest programmes in the Bank and a key vehicle for the Bank to accomplish its vision and become a pioneer in the way Digital technologies service our customers across Channels.

The ST consultant will be instrumental in the leading and the development of the systems thinking practice as part of Customer Journey transformation. Specifically this leader will be a major contributing role in the design and implementation of the Systems thinking strategy as part of our CJT strategy including;

  • Formulating and continual improvement of the methods used under CJT method
  • Driving the strategy for building Systems thinking and business leader capability
  • Helping to change how leaders and designers think about solutions/problems solving
  • Play a lead role in the full integration of the Design disciplines that underpin CJT method
  • Pay a key leadership role in the management of the team

You'll engage with key stakeholders across divisions, to ensure alignment to CJT strategy and ultimately alignment to Best Bank for Customer.

Additionally your accountabilities will include;

  • To work closely with the Product owners/Delivery leads and design leads for specific Journeys s to achieve common understanding of Systems approaches and their value in CJT
  • Provide thought leadership to LAB leadership on the applied use of systems approaches as a philosophy for general management, helping supporting the required change in thinking
  • Providing a key interface with the other design discipline to continually improve overall CJT method and its application
  • Provide critical interface with Group Operations COO journey delivery to ensure common understanding and delivery of System thinking Group wide
  • Line management of Systems thinking managers

As the successful candidate you'll have had experience of studying and redesigning services based on what matters to customers, will have experience of using any of W. E demings work to transform an organisation and will be able to apply systems approaches across multiple situations, manufacturing, Service industries and or IT landscapes; particularly software delivery.
