Online continues to accelerate, growing ten times faster than traditional channels. Over 80% of all purchasing decisions are influenced by digital today. By 2020, 10% of Diageo's sales online (versus <3% today), delivering £300m NSV that is margin neutral.

As an Digital Commerce team in Europe, we are responsible for driving and influencing every online sale of our brands either directly through accounts such as Amazon, or indirectly with our account teams in Grocery, RTM and particularly this role the On-trade. Our purpose as a team is to embed Digital Commerce into the DNA of the business, delivering accelerated growth by being relevant to today's digital shoppers in the key micro moments.

We are seeking a bright, energetic and cutting edge digital marketer, with a passion for digital brand building and the customer. A commercial individual with a profound understanding of the digital space, putting the digital shopper at the heart of business decision making.

This role will be a critical member of the team responsible for developing online brand, media, eCategory and shopper strategy across all key categories, channels and key retailers. Will suit an ambitious professional, who will enjoy a full stack digital marketing role with variety and enjoy rolling up their sleeves to make brilliant stuff just happen.

The Europe Digital Shopper Marketing Manager will lead the development of the Digital Customer strategies to influence our multi-channel development. Not for the fain hearted, this person will thrive on making the complex simple, influencing senior stakeholders and hold enough gravitas to take people with them.

Candidate Profile:

A strong digital background is essential to be successful in this role; a person with a proven track record of building and managing brands in a digital and commerce context.

You're passionate about making consumer and customer connections. A unique ability to think differently, pooling the big picture and small details all together clearly to build lasting relationships - both consumer and customer.

You're a demonstrated high performer and love to win, and have fun doing it: Your eye is always on the commercial prize and you have a history of making things happen.

You're creative strategic thinker and a Story Teller: An insatiable curiosity and you'll love to learn and share. Podcasts, vlogs and white papers are your daily routine, from tech, new Biz, data science, blockchain, conversation commerce etc., and you believe in imparting this knowledge on others to deliver breakthrough.

You make Change Happen: As a marketing lead you'll serve as a digital ambassador and custodian throughout Diageo to enable our success.
