Business Intelligence Director - open to flexibility

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Director to join our Commercial Analytics organisation and support our Global Respiratory Franchise.

In this role you will be the Customer Insight Lead for the Bronchodilator COPD Medicine Commercialisation Team (MCT), providing strategic insight and analytical support to optimise future growth for Anoro.

As such, you will manage qualitative and quantitative financial and market data sources, deliver global market research, to ensure that robust evidence-based insight and foresight is available to support the launch and future growth of Anoro.

The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and analytical skills with the proven ability to influence, challenge and engage diverse senior stakeholders by providing recommendation and insightful interpretation of available internal and external data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define structure, plan and commission global market research to answer key business questions for Anoro, ensure all market insight activities are conducted in an ethical way and according to relevant Codes of Conduct.
  • Participate as a core member of the Anoro MCT working closely with the franchise markets
  • Ensure high quality insights are derived and integrated into wider asset understanding and strategy
  • Define and implement appropriate Anoro performance measures and KPIs to optimise launch performance across the franchise markets
  • Work closely with the Franchise markets insight and analytics teams to provide insight and forecasting support to Anoro
  • Lead initiatives to improve the quality of market / brand understanding and forecasting through analogue and benchmarking exercises based on secondary data and competitor intelligence
  • Contribute to the formulation of product strategy, in conjunction with franchise teams to ensure that maximum return is obtained from any future scientific evidence
  • Maximise the value from key data assets to provide clear insight into the COPD market evolution and opportunity for Anoro
  • Develop and champion best-practice models and experimentation as a member of Commercial Analytics Platform
  • Contribute to the training and development of the Knowledge Centre to ensure it is optimised to deliver maximum value and on-time delivery.
