Senior Manager Digital Security, Open to flexibility

Digital Cyber Security is a team of Cyber and Information Security experts that are responsible for the security of the Bank's Digital footprint. This includes:

  • Ensuring the appropriate level of protection against threats to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all digital banking services
  • Providing continued protection of customer data and service access, complementing our digital fraud strategy, ultimately protecting our customers and Lloyds Banking Group against losses associated with e-crime
  • Ensuring that our customers have complete confidence in Lloyds Banking Group digital services.

We achieve this through our core activities in Cyber Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Education and Awareness, and via R&D initiatives in the field of digital and Cyber Security. We also work closely with Group Security, Group Intelligence, Group IT Cyber, and our various Risk partners to help deliver this vision and ensure alignment across the Group

As the successful candidate, you'll help deliver the Cyber strategy for Group Transformation, will manage a team of Cyber Specialists, be part of the Digital Cyber Security (DCS) leadership team and will help shape the Cyber agenda for Group Digital and Transformation.

You'll also have line management responsibilities, work with other areas of LBG such as Group Cyber, IT Security to ensure alignment within the organisation, manage our communications agenda at senior exec level and work with Group intelligence to ensure Digital receives appropriate intel on Cyber matters; also providing locally sourced info into the rest of the Group. You'll also Ensure the department is adequately represented on key projects elsewhere in the Bank, such as PSD2, MBNA, Cloud etc.

What we'll need from you;

This is a challenging role that provides a real opportunity for a driven individual to become a key enabler of the Cyber Security agenda within a high profile area in Digital Banking. The candidate should have a very good knowledge of the Digital security landscape, including both colleague and customers across multiple formats and include items such as training, traditional media campaigns, and social media.

Also critical to the role is the ability to understand the wider key business drivers, the ability to influence and manage change at senior and executive level across the Group, along with the ability to drive and deliver change through a large organisation. And you'll have demonstrable knowledge of cyber security technologies, processes, and capabilities and of Information Security principles.
