Customer Insights is a centre of excellence for analytics within Lloyds Banking Group. Delivering advanced analytics solutions resulting in actionable insight, direct marketing & measurement, through to statistical modelling, this team is at the core of LBG's strategy to become the Best Bank for Customers.

The role:

We are currently recruiting for a talented analyst to complement our world class econometric team. We need a senior analyst who have experience of time series econometrics and preferable some experience with attribution and marketing mix modelling.

This role is essential in helping us improve our marketing communication and understanding how our activities influence customer behaviour.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about data and analytics, has an aptitude for problem solving, and uses that approach to provide simple and effective solutions.

You must be able to communicate effectively, have an eye for detail and demonstrate a restless curiosity. The individual must not be afraid to challenge status quo and we actively encourage innovative approaches to the way we do things.

In addition we require you to have knowledge of R and SQL (ideally Teradata) is required, experience of other tools such as SAS, Tableau and Aster is also desirable as well as experience of effectively managing stakeholders.

The individual must also be able to demonstrate the following core skills:

  • Time series econometrics
  • Planning & organising
  • Understands data structure and databases
  • Excellent numeracy skills (some understanding of statistical methods an advantage)
  • Collaborative working
  • Business Acumen
