The Pack Artwork Shared Service (PASS) is a function in the GSK Supply Chain, providing service management and delivery of packaging artwork for our products across Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare operations and is Key to the successful delivery of Packaging for the GSK CH FMCG Supply Chain, Interacting with markets and sites across the Globe to ensure accurate Forecasting, Demand and planning activity for delivery of Artwork, Drawings and Specifications.

To help strengthen and further develop the capabilities of PASS we are currently seeking an Artwork Operator (AO) / Production Artwork Repro Operator (PARO) to join our team in Barnard castle.

To be considered for this position you will have an understanding of the end to end artwork, Repro and pre-press processes with a specialism and demonstrated experience in creation of artwork assets, colour separation, artwork typesetting, application of repro elements to support flexo/litho/gravure printing processes and hands on experience of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, automative workflows and Webcentre.,

The successful applicant will be responsible for Creating colour separated artwork assets and artwork including application of Repro for complex GSK CH FMCG Supply Chain brands products ensuring all technical requirements for relevant printing processes, brand guidelines and GMP processes are adhered to.

Although formal qualifications are desired, a strong knowledge and significant experience gained is equally as important as you'll still play a hands on role in the day to activities associated with a AO /PARO role in busy service delivery centre.
