Salary - £38,236- £40,057

Permanent Contract

Within Social Care and Support, we firmly believe in putting people first. To us, it’s not just a Department of Health initiative; it’s the cornerstone of everything we do for our customers, and the people in our teams. It means giving you the freedom to think creatively and create packages that our tailored to each customer's individual aspirations. Not just adopting standard practices that aren’t always suitable. In short we are empowering you to empower your customers.

In line with this ethos, we’re building a project team who will be pivotal in the successful transition from our existing social work case management system, CareFirst, to Mosaic.

This team will be critical in ensuring the database is migrated to the new system in a coordinated way, minimising disruption to our customers.  Some roles will be involved in data tidying to ensure that we are transferring up-to-date and accurate information. Others will be in place to release substantive staff to increase the pace of development activity and some roles will be essential in increasing our duty based activity and support our transition into new ways of scheduling our customer contact and home visits.

To lead this dedicated team of Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners, we need vibrant and innovative Team Leaders, who come with experience in Adult centric Social Care practice.

Key Requirements

You’ll be open to a flexible, dynamic role that provides positive support as and where you’re needed, providing numerous opportunities to experience working with people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or older people in a variety of settings.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have;

  • A well documented ability to deliver complex concepts in simple terms
  • Confidence with navigating and utilising technology and online systems
  • Experience in Adult focused Social Work practice
  • Evidence of your ability to make quick, effective decisions and prioritise work appropriately in a pressured, very fast moving environment.
  • An ability to manage staff and duty systems across the team and promote good working relationships with other teams
  • Effective supervisory experience

If you tick the above boxes, and are someone who promotes efficiency, reduces bureaucracy and is confident to put forward reasoned, evidence based challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing Date: 16th October 2017
