Community Fundraising Executive, part time, 14 hours per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a track record of successful community fundraising and/or events fundraising in the charity sector to develop our community fundraising work with a range of stakeholders.

You have a warm and strategic approach and are comfortable engaging with people at all levels. You are experienced at supporting fundraisers through your professional yet personable verbal and written communication skills to secure and uplift their donation.  And critically, you also have proven experience of using social media platforms to develop and promote community fundraising opportunities and analysing your campaign success.

This exciting new role will report into the Grants & Community Fundraising Manager, and the much-needed post holder will increase both traditional and online community fundraising income from individuals and groups who want to organise an event or make a donation. The post holder will also support Mind in Harrow organised fundraising events.

If this sounds like you and you also possess first class organisational skills, attention to detail and enjoy reflecting and learning from experiences to boot – then this is certainly the job you should apply for!

Mind in Harrow is a leading mental health charity based in NW London, just three minutes from Harrow Metropolitan line station.  We have an excellent reputation and a dynamic and creative team of 30 full/part-time staff and 100 volunteers, and are driven by a strong user empowerment ethos.  We offer family-friendly working practices including home-working and flexible working days, enabling staff to have a fulfilling career alongside caring responsibilities.

The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure & Barring service application (DBS).
