Client Development, Oxford, Flexible working, full or part time with some home working

Our client is an entrepreneurial research and events organisation. They are looking for an experienced B2B business development professional to work with their senior management team to engage and secure suitable new blue-chip clients.

Activities include:
- Conduct intuitive BD research, including targeting prospects and writing tailored proposals
- Prepare for, participate in, and follow-up from, BD meetings, networking events and awards dinners
- Establish relationships with Britain’s leading entrepreneurs, particularly to help with introductions to potential new clients
- Use PowerPoint and InDesign to create sponsor proposals and related documents
- Social media: help improve digital offering and social media outputs 
- Networking: attend invitation-only awards dinners in London (7-9 evenings per year) and alumni dinners (predominantly in London)

You will need to have:  
- Minimum 2.1 honours degree
- Experience of working in professional services or financial services
- Demonstrable client facing experience with C level Execs 
- Meticulous attention to detail, with excellent writing and proof-reading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, with proven research ability to identify and help secure meetings with key decision-makers
- Basic knowledge of private company financials

Location: Oxford
Salary: up to £65K FTE
Flexibility: 4 or 5 days a week flexible working hours, with 1 day a week home-based working
