Due to continued business growth at Pavers, we have opportunities for several individuals with excellent administration and customer service skills to join our York Head Office Customer Service Team as Part Time Customer Service Advisor. 16 - 24 hours per week contracts are available, working 4 out of 7 days per week with the possibility of overtime. The Customer Service Team operates on a flexible rota between the hours of 8am -9pm Monday to Sunday.

The role is based at our York Head Office and is offered as a permanent role and as a bonus can be worked from home the majority of the time, but you need to be willing and able to come into the York office when required.

The role of Customer Service Advisor:

You'll be based in our Customer Service Team and be responsible for dealing with customer queries via;


Social media

Live web chats

Over the phone

You'll need to have a passion for delivering excellent customer experience at all times, strong written and verbal communication skills, including a competent telephone manner and excellent spelling and grammar, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to make a success of this opportunity. The role will involve working to targets as well, around call volume and email responses.

Hours of our Customer Service Advisor

16 & 24 hours per week contracts are available over 4 days out of 7 days on a flexible rota.

The Customer Service Team operates on a flexible rota between the hours of 8am -9pm Monday to Sunday. evening and weekend only availability will be considered.

In you first week you would need to be able to work hours across Monday to Friday based in the York Head Office to complete your training.

Requirements to be our Customer Service Advisor:

Excellent English language skills including spelling and grammar

Strong written administration skills

Access to a computer at home and a good/reliable internet connection

Ability to deal with customer complaints

Excellent Customer Service skills

Experience responding to customers over social media

Highly Organised

Good attention to detail

Patient Persona

Excellent telephone manner

Good IT skills

Able to multi-task
