Background

DRIVETRIBE started in March 2016 and has grown to c.30 employees. Currently the finance team consists of a part-time Finance Assistant and a Financial Controller, who report directly into the Chief Financial Officer. The need has arisen for a Finance Manager to mentor and manage the Finance Assistant and support DRIVETRIBE’s ambitious growth and exit plans.

The role requires someone who can be both commercially focused and big picture but also likes to get stuck in and enjoys reconciliations.

Role Outline

The role will:

  • Prepare month end file with balance sheet reconciliations and P&L commentary
  • Work with the CFO to create and improve financial controls, processes and systems
  • Work with the sales team to help price and prepare budgets for deals
  • Review and release payment runs
  • Prepare client supplier forms
  • Review and pay payroll
  • Complete corporation tax packs
  • Help to build a process for billing and accounts receivable
  • Assist with the annual audit and preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Filing of statutory forms
  • Preparation of HR documents
  • Assist CFO with Forecasts and Budgets

Person specification

You will:

  • Have strong academics
  • Be a chartered accountant with 0-3 years PQE
  • Be driven and energetic, a self-starter with good instincts on when to ask for help/advice
  • Be equally comfortable posting journal entries and creating high level reports for management
  • Want to work in a fast paced, dynamic, start-up environment
