Our client is based in Waltham and they are looking for a system administrator to join them for a 15 month maternity cover posting. The role is working 22.5 hours a week and will pay ??11 - ??14 per hour depending on experience.
This organisation is currently working remotely but are due to reopen their offices in June, and you will be able to split your time between your home and the workplace. The client site offers free parking and a restaurant available, and would suit someone with access to a vehicle. You will be provided full training and have excellent support available at all times.
As a system administrator you will be responsible for:
Take ownership of the time and attendance systems used, supporting different departments in properly using the software and solving any issues that are reported
Working with different business units to generate reports
Supporting with changes to the systems and implementation to ensure users can continue to access the software
Training users of the systems based on other site locations to ensure they are confident in the use of the system
Periodically auditing the system with the help of the wider payroll team to ensure the information and results generated by the system are correctSkills and experience required
The essential skills and experience required for the system administrator post are:
Strong IT literacy with advanced skills in excel covering PIVOT Tables and V-Lookups
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to approach challenges with confidence and clarity
Experience supporting projects and working in large teams to deliver shared aims
The ability to adapt to new situations and learn new tools and skills
Any experience using any HR software such as Workday or SAP would be beneficial but this is not essentialWhat next?
