Overview of this role

Your role

This is an opportunity to join the finance team to ensure the smooth running of the end-to-end payroll and payroll forecasting process for The King’s Fund. Although the role is predominately payroll-focused, we are a small organisation of 135 employees so there will be peaks and troughs of payroll activity and experience of other general finance support would be beneficial.

Please be aware, as per the full job description attached, we are interested to speak with candidates that have specific and recent payroll experience as this will be the majority of your function. Please outline in your covering letter and/or CV your payroll experience and why you’re a strong candidate for this role.

Who are we?

The King’s Fund is an independent charity working to improve health and care in England. We help to shape policy and practice through research and analysis; develop individuals, teams and organisations; promote understanding of the health and social care system; and bring people together to learn, share knowledge and debate. Our vision is that the best possible health and care is available to all.

In addition to a competitive salary, The King’s Fund offers generous holiday entitlements, a £3 daily discount in our café and an on-site gym.

No agencies please.

Please submit your CV and a supporting statement by no later than 9am on Monday 11 December. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 13 December.  The successful candidate will ideally start early in January 2018.
