For half a century, the National Film and Television School (NFTS) has developed some of Britain and the world’s top creative talent. It is widely acknowledged to be the top school of its kind in the UK and one of the best internationally. In 2018, the NFTS was awarded both the BAFTA for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema and the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education.

At the NFTS, People are at the heart of what we do. We are looking for an experienced and innovative HR professional who can continue to develop the School’s HR department and strategy, with a particular focus on Diversity and Inclusion. Reporting to the Director of the School, there is huge opportunity in this role to make a key contribution to the School’s strategic direction and management as a member of the Management Team.

You will have experience in the film, television, games and creative industries and/or Higher Education sector. We are looking for someone who has substantial expertise and a proven track record across the full HR remit including; Diversity and Inclusion, Wellbeing, employee relations, employee engagement, learning and development and reward/benefits (including payroll and pensions).  Your communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills will be first class as will your ability to influence and persuade at every level within the organisation.  Resilient and results driven, you will need to be ready to operate at both the strategic and operational level.
