Self Employed Associate Property Adviser - Flexible working
Are you an experienced surveyor, free to pick & choose your work and keen to work with amazing people doing good in the world?
The Ethical Property Foundation is the UK’s property advice charity for the voluntary sector. We support over 450 voluntary organisations p.a. with expert and independent property advice as well as free property guidance, information and education. We are currently seeking a self-employed Chartered Surveyor (or equivalent professional qualification), to augment our affordable consultancy team and specifically assist us in delivering our affordable consultancy.
Our Associate Property Advisers are assigned projects to lead on or supporting other members of the team. You will use your communication skills to gain the trust of clients and support them expand their knowledge of property issues. You will use your wide knowledge of the property sector to investigate/analyse client issues and develop suitable options and solutions. The projects you will deliver include: property health checks, feasibility studies & development of client property strategies. Average project time allocation: between 4 – 5 days. You may also be asked to participate in delivering training events, which form part of our National Programme of Property Education. The outputs from our consultancy projects are designed to empower our clients to make informed decisions about their property and have a greater knowledge of how to manage them going forward.
Our not for profit clients support every sort of good cause and are responsible for every sort of property. In the last 12 months, besides conventional office premises, we have advised on: church buildings, oast houses, former schools, industrial units, fields, warehouses, libraries, theatres and mills.
