Our client, a boutique Law Firm in the City, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join their growing team. This is a generalist role that will suit a passionate marketeer who is excited by the opportunity to make a difference to the business by applying know how and insights into the latest trends.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing and Operations Director and with management responsibility for the Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Organising Marketing Activities and Events – including seminars, webinars, parties and conferences, liaising with external event's companies.
  • Management of how the Firm presents itself to the outside world including:
    • Overall website management
    • Managing the Firm's presence on social media
    • Co-ordinating directory submissions
    • Liaising with outside agencies to manage and co-ordinate website and materials design.
  • Management of Marketing Administration including:
    • Database and list management
    • Managing brochure and collateral production, liaising with external agencies
    • Implementing email marketing campaigns
  • Supporting Business Development activities including:
    • Supporting and assisting with pitches and presentations
    • Managing the production of materials and slides relating to pitch or presentation design
    • Supporting client service programmes and communication of results to the team
    • Managing and tracking data, including updating the CRM system
  • Editorial and Copy writing work
    • Co-ordinating directory submissions
    • Co-ordinating submissions and entries for awards
    • Copy writing and producing website copy
    • Copy writing and producing mailshots, letters etc
  • Project Management including result measurement to ensure ROI

About you:

You are someone who loves all things marketing, including strategy and is adept at solving problems by using equal parts creativity, intuition and data.
Specifically you will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a marketing role.
  • You have excellent copywriting, proof reading, formatting and editing skills.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to adapt and prioritise self-sufficiently.
  • You are a proven problem-solver with great attention to detail.
  • CRM integration know-how is essential.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to build relationships quickly.
  • You must have experience of marketing a service, rather than a product, ideally from a professional services background.
