This is a unique and brilliant opportunity for an experienced, passionate and forward thinking CFO. Joining a small, but fast-growing SaaS scale up, you will work closely with the CEO in setting the strategy to achieve the vision, transform the operating model to deliver success and help prepare the business for future funding rounds.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Building a strong finance function that provides proactive guidance to the CEO and senior management, and can scale with the growth of the company 

  • Helping decision making and deliver timely reporting and valuable financial management
  • Delivering good governance for management and stakeholders
  • Managing financial control, risk and group reporting
  • Shaping and monitoring the business' financial plans and budgets
  • Maintaining compliance
  • Managing group tax planning and accounting
  • Maintaining investor relations
  • Cash flow management
  • Day-to-day operations including line managing one finance team member, responsible for invoicing, VAT returns and payroll
  • Supporting future funding rounds

 You will:

  • Be a qualified accountant, ideally with a minimum of 10 years' PQE
  • Have first-hand experience of helping a business scale and fund raise, ideally Series A
  • Ideally have some SaaS and VC or Private Equity experience
  • Be a team player – willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in when required, especially during the early stages building out the finance function
  • Have a growth mindset:  growing fast, and you'll be expected to offer ideas and make a tangible difference

Flexibility: 2 days a week

Salary: £100,00-£120,000 FTE
