As Senior Director of Portfolio, Office of the CTO you are accountable for the creation, management and overarching strategy for the CTO product and service portfolio for Consumer Healthcare Tech. We're on an exciting journey and want you to join us!

You will be accountable for leading effective engagement with the diverse user group via the core pillars that support the business: Value Chain and Customer & Consumer, along with other multi-functional teams including Tech Transformation and CISO, and the partners in the Regions for Americas, EMEA and APAC. In addition, you will collaborate with key enabling areas like Legal; Procurement and Quality.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Accountable to drive the creation of the Product Portfolio and Product Strategy for office of the CTO, for shared Technology services which underpin the Consumer Healthcare organisation
  • Build visibility of the management of the portfolio and execution elements (should include but not be limited to: value, capability, financial & budget management, vendor management)
  • Drive continuous improvement in product execution, tooling and resourcing to support transformation across CH
  • Develop objectives and key results to drive success
  • Identify the right tools and resources to underpin the agile strategy that facilitates a data driven approach
  • Accountable to develop & implement a governance model from Global to Regional to Market.
  • The job holder will partner with Finance in the product budget management for CH Tech, as part of the annual CAPEX and OPEX review
  • Accountable to provide managerial oversight of People capabilities and Talent development supporting tools and processes for CTO including capability training, annual review processes, talent review and talent board representation.
  • Design and embed common frameworks for CTO leadership to compare and decide on investments by providing expected return on investment perspectives.
  • Work multi-functionally to find opportunities for CTO to continuously improve performance, including identifying key dependencies across CH Tech and a roadmap of strategic enablers
  • Develop working relationships and engagement with leaders within CTO and key partners across the broader organisation
  • Lead colleague engagement and communication strategies

  • Experience as an enterprise technology leader with product managers as your direct reports
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and develop others: hiring the right talent; actively developing your team to perform to the highest standards; delivering through other teams and leaders
  • Knowledge/experience with how digital products need to vary across markets while maintaining scalability
  • Demonstrable experience devising, managing and deploying a plan and budget to maximise impact
  • Solid experience leading teams in truly agile environments - releasing new product increments regularly, testing and reiterating.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs and economics of a business and the market around it

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to present ideas coherently leading to achieving a consensus, even where audience is from diverse areas of the business
  • Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to gain the respect of partners

  • Appetite to build, cultivate and test new insights
