This is a great opportunity with someone with an analytical mind and a keen eye for detail. As part of our Assurance Hub you’ll help to identify and investigate potential incidences of fraud or non-compliance within our renewable energy schemes. This will involve planning and supporting the delivery of supplier or participant audits as well as monitoring energy supplier performance against statutory obligations. You can expect considerable engagement with external stakeholders, working with scheme participants to review, question or challenge data. You’ll ensure that any recommendations for further action are evidence-based and that issues are escalated as required, making a key contribution to mitigating operational and strategic risk.
Strong numerical and analytical skills will be important in this role, as well as good communication skills (in writing and in person). You’ll be able to work through data and evidence from a range of sources to identify any anomalies or omissions and be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders that enable you to investigate these further. It’s important that you have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, which will be key in enabling you to meet competing deadlines. It’s likely that you are degree educated, or that you have professional experience that’s relevant to this role.
