Senior Policy Managers - Part time, job share, flexible working available

E-Serve is our delivery arm, and manages a number of high profile environmental programmes. It’s a fast-paced and dynamic place to work, and you can expect to be involved in ground-breaking work. This is a great opportunity for an experienced policy professional to lead a small team working on the introduction of new policies or amendments across our environmental schemes. It’s a highly varied role, working with different stakeholders, including Government, where you will be presented with novel scenarios that require an analytical approach to arrive at bespoke solutions. You can expect plenty of autonomy, identifying priorities for your team and acting as a main conduit between policy development and implementation. As part of a cohort of senior policy managers you will collaborate across different subject matter to ensure optimum use of resources.
You should have previous experience of managing others in a policy or service delivery environment. You ‘ll be a versatile and capable project manager – able to co-ordinate and prioritise your team’s work to meet competing deadlines. It’s important that you have excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills and that you can make connections between different areas of work. We expect that you’ll have a proven ability to analyse complex subject matter in order to arrive at sound recommendations.
