Part time Business Manager

Our client is a full service PR consultancy working across a number of sectors including property, art and culture and retail. They are now seeking a Business Manager on a part time basis to join their growing business.
Our client works with leading cultural and international brands and is growing quickly. The business manager will report into the Managing Director and work closely with him as well as within the senior leadership team. This role will sit at the heart of the company and will manage all financials and aspects of company and office life. This will range from full management accounts, company budgets, income forecasting, and campaign profitability through to talent management, HR and overseeing the office management and suppliers.
The role will suit a qualified accountant (or qualified through experience) with experience of VAT returns, HMRC related issues, board reporting, HR processes, employment matters, employee, client and supplier contracts. Advanced skills in Paprika and the ability (or desire to master) CRM systems will be a significant advantage. They will have brilliant technical skills on Excel as well as first class business writing. Being familiar with Apple Macs would be an advantage.
The individual will be good at multitasking, able to prioritise workload and have a high attention to detail. They will be entrepreneurial, able to think laterally, willing to challenge the status quo to improve the company’s processes and profitability and keen to support account teams on evaluating campaign profitability and budgeting.
The role will particularly suit an individual passionate about creative industries and excited about helping grow a medium sized creative business across the full range of business and company management areas. It will provide the opportunity for the right individual to grow their leadership, strategic and entrepreneurial skills and become a key member of the leadership team.
The successful individual will have experience working in a PR or creative agency environment. They should have gravitas, strong leadership skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. They will be approachable, warm, enjoy working in a creative environment and keen to get involved in company life but also able to hold colleagues to account as required.
