Part Time Credit Controller / Administrator

??20,000 - ??24,000 per annum pro rata

We are working with an established client based on the outskirts of Market Drayton to recruit for a Credit Controller/Administrator to join their small team. This is a dual role where you will be managing the debts of the company as well as being an office assistant/administrator for the whole business.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing and collecting debts from company debtors

* Evaluating new credit requests, conducting client credit checks

* Setting up the terms of credit for new clients

* Negotiating payment plans

* Managing the collection of all payments and debts

* Responding to client inquiries

* Processing invoices

* Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant

* Managing the sales ledger

* Liaising with customers and the sales team

* Filing

* Data input

* Preparing import and export data

* Supporting the full office with administrative tasks when required.

Skills and Experience

Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience as a Credit Controller but this isn't essential. You will need to have strong communication and customer service skills and be able to deal with problematic clients. You will also ideally have experience of using accounting software and MS Office applications. Due to their rural location, access to a car is essential as there are no public transport links.
