Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Part-Time (22 hours) VAT Manager who will work closely with Finance leads from the business units to ensure that VAT returns and estimates are correct to aid their cash flow / forecasting. In addition, the VAT Manager will drive internal review work and deal with ad hoc compliance queries from the businesses as a subject matter expert, also assisting with responses to HMRC enquiries and support and guide the businesses with ad hoc VAT advice and deliver specific VAT related projects

What do we need from you?

You will need strong VAT knowledge with preferred experience of working in the construction sector but this is not essential, as well as knowledge of managing a team. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to problem solve and think creatively is required.
