My client is an important business partner to the UK’s heritage sector, providing key funding, leadership and advocacy. Never more needed by the organisations it supports, its role in supporting some of the UK’s best loved institutions, has been critical over the last 18 months.
Continuously looking to evolve and improve its service offering, they are currently looking to appoint an interim Financial Analyst to lead on a new costing model for the business.
Key duties & responsibilities:
Develop a strategic costing model to allow the business to effectively respond to new investment programmes and manage new funding.
Overhaul the current unit costing model to reflect the ever-changing organisation and encourage greater ownership of cost data within the business.
Update long and short-term cash flow models, including undertaking scenario modelling.
Assist with the business planning for 2 including undertaking a review of the annual budgeting exercise to suggest improvements.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a strong background in financial analysis, costing and/ or pricing. A self-starter, you will be an expert on Excel and enjoy the challenge of data analysis and modelling.
