Having recently developed our volunteering strategy, RNIB’s friendly Volunteering team has an exciting opening for a Volunteering Recognition Officer. This maternity cover post provides an excellent development opportunity, supporting the delivery of our volunteering recognition plan.

Reporting to the Volunteering Insight and Support Manager and working with a team of volunteering specialists, you will be working with volunteers and staff to deliver key projects within the volunteering recognition plan. You will coordinate recognition activities such as our end of year celebration as well as key dates in the volunteering calendar.

You will have experience of planning and coordinating events for a range of stakeholders. You will have sound knowledge of project management principles and volunteering recognition approaches.
