An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team in Commercial Banking within the Markets Operations and Trade Services team responsible for ensuring the regulatory reporting obligations of the Commercial Bank are met. You will be responsible for ensuring submissions to a number of major regulators are timeous and accurate for regulations such as Dodd Frank, EMIR and MiFID II Transaction Reporting.

The team forms part of a growing function within Markets Operations and Trade Services operating in a fast paced environment and playing a pivotal role by acting as the interface between CB and various functions across Markets Operations and Trade Services. There is a clear focus on providing an exceptional service to external customers and regulators while attaining the highest standard of operational excellence.

You will be given opportunities to support a vast range of activities that span across, FX, OTC derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities and Equities which offers fantastic development prospects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working to provide resolutions to stakeholder queries, applying business acumen to ensure a complete end to end service is provided
  • Managing key client relationships taking forward issue resolution and implementing optimal solutions
  • Providing a central point of contact between the CB Markets and internal support functions across Markets Operations and Trade Services.
  • Resolving and escalating queries and issues within the team, act in a timely and diligent manner
  • Liaising with other stakeholders of the Group in order to educate accordingly, in the ever changing regulatory landscape, implement best practices and exchange information
  • Attend Market forums as a Lloyds Banking Group representative and ensuring information is being cascaded to the wider team

You will come with a high level regulatory interest, awareness and knowledge and a good understanding of Compliance frameworks. Good stakeholder and communication skills together with a professionalism and client first attitude will be needed as you'll be required to liaise with other LBG colleagues and teams as well as external clients. You'll have an awareness of the internal risk and control framework, policies and procedures including audit and SOX requirements. A keen problem solver with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail you will have the ability to multi task and prioritise BAU workflow within tight deadlines.

Previous experience of working with the Commercial Banking Markets Products is not a pre-requisite for this role, however you will be encouraged to achieve competency and commit to complete the ACI qualifications Operations Certificate and Model Code within 6 to 12 months of joining.
