Communications and Marketing Manager, Literacy Charity
Are you looking for a flexible, part-time role that enables you to use your marketing and communications skills to have a direct impact on the lives of disadvantaged children? Are you creative, dynamic and focused on results?
36% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Innovations for Learning (IFL) is a charity focused on using technology to close this literacy gap through a unique online reading support programme called TutorMate. Many children fall behind with reading simply because they lack the opportunity to practice. TutorMate addresses this problem by using a bespoke internet platform to pair volunteer tutors from corporate organisations with struggling pupils.
IFL is seeking a highly motivated, proactive Communications and Marketing Manager to develop content and campaigns that engage audiences, increase corporate partnerships and drive revenue.
You will be a confident communicator able to create tailored, compelling materials and campaigns. You’ll be expert in digital marketing techniques and able to manage the charity’s multichannel communications. You will be both strategic and ‘hands on’, with a focus on results. With superb organisational skills, you will have knowledge of the charity sector and a genuine passion for ensuring all children can read.
This role is ideal for someone home-based with the ability to travel to meetings. Working days can be arranged flexibly.
