The Global Compensation PM & P4G Lead will be responsible for driving compensation related projects and initiatives in support of the strategic goals of HR and the Reward COE while also serving as Diageo’s performance management process (P4G) leader and subject matter professional.  

In its capacity as Global Compensation PM, this role will work with the RLT to understand detailed project requirements, formulate points of view on the issue at hand, establish success metrics, assess and address risks, develop timelines, assist in the development and implementation of communication and change management plans, monitor and provide progress to named internal partners. In addition, this role will coordinate with the Reward Transformation Leader on tracking and reporting project status and metrics, cross-project dependencies, prioritization, resource allocation, and scheduling.

For F22, this role will be tasked with two key project areas (outlined below) that respond to our strategic COE priority of: “Review & deliver a highly driven total reward offering, across geographies, that is appropriately differentiated, allowing us to attract and retain the best talent.”

In its capacity as Diageo’s P4G Lead, this role will be responsible for leading the company’s performance management practice beginning with the evolution of its design and up through its forward-thinking execution.

What we're looking for

In addition to having 7+ years of total rewards experience, the successful candidate will have excellent project management skills and demonstrable experience collaborating / leading virtual project teams   to deliver outcomes aligned with stakeholder expectations. Candidates must be able to quickly build relationships with stakeholders and exercise independent judgment and discretion. Strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, is highly desired.

Competencies critical to success include total rewards domain expertise, organizational and project management skills, analytical thinking, adaptability and flexibility, team and meeting facilitation, the ability to work well with others, the ability to communicate effectively, and experience in designing new approaches to base pay programs (merit, pay ranges, competitive intelligence, grading approaches)
