Our client is a global financial services organisation with offices worldwide. They are looking for a Payroll Team leader to join their finance team. The role will have responsibility for the monthly payroll process, ensuring all our people are paid accurately and on time.
The role will provide detailed query responses and manage the expectations of the business on bulk payments and other ongoing projects. The company is about to embark on a payroll platform change and the role will add value to that project too and managing other more junior members of the team to bring their skills up and enhance their knowledge of payroll and systems. The role will provide relevant reports to clients, regularly reviewing the effectiveness of these and will prepare the monthly payroll reconciliation for review by the Director.
Candidates will be CIPP qualified or working towards this qualification with knowledge in manual pay calculations and be up to date with legislation and regulations surrounding payments. He/she will have strong technical skills and experience of providing clients and stakeholders with quality services. He/she will have strong Excel skills as well as being commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions. Experience of Workday and Resource Link is preferred. Our client is very focused on self-development as well as having the desire to coach, mentor and develop colleagues and candidates should be interested in advancing themselves and others. He/she will have experience of working on large-scale payrolls within a large team environment.
