Copywriter, part time 32 hours per week with some homeworking
Wordsmith Wanted: COOK needs a brilliant copywriter, brimming with ideas, to help spread the word about our truly remarkable, purpose-led brand.
The role is being offered as a part time role working 32 hours per week and can be a mix of office and home working.
You’ll be obsessed with crafting words to raise a smile; to spread a sense of warmth and humanity; and to help sell the very best prepared meals and puddings money can buy.
You’ll be eager to be part of something and believe business is about much more than the bottom line. If you love food (and writing about it), all the better.
You’ll be able to get under the skin of our brand and unearth stories that resonate with customers. As part of our in-house creative team you’ll work across all marketing and comms channels – both external and internal – while taking the lead on our social media copy, in particular.
In this role, you’ll be setting out to create a community of engaged followers, creating genuine connections and not just trying to flog another lasagne (although selling lasagne is very important, too, just ask our Financial Director). You’ll need to be comfortable with crafting quick, tactful and human responses to customers on potentially sensitive topics.
As you might guess, you’ll be quick to turn around sparkling copy and brimming with ideas, contributing to the content created across the brand and marketing team. Basically, you’ll be delighted to turn your hand to anything, muck-in and support people whenever needed.
