Purchase Ledger Assistant
Construction testing organisation is actively seeking a permanent part time Purchase Ledger Assistant who would enjoy working in a busy, process-driven finance team who can support the business through an exciting period of improvement and growth.
Day to day you will be supporting the finance team by supporting departments and looking after our suppliers, this will include completing supplier account forms, creating and maintaining all records with a high level of accuracy, and assisting with any queries that may arise internally or externally. You will also be in charge of logging invoices and reconciling supplier statements. Internally you will get involved in processing expenses and posting/ monitoring petty cash across our offices.
They want someone that has great attention to detail and works pro-actively, it is important you can prioritise your workload and cope with a high pressured, fast paced environment.
Experience and skills
* Great organisational skills
* Proficient in computing, particularly with Excel
* Excellent communication
* Experience in a Purchase Ledger role or another financial administrative role
* Experience using Sage200 and/or Microsoft 365 and SharePoint advantageous but not essential
This is a part-time permanent position, approx. 25 hours per week. Working times to be between Monday to Friday with flexibility.
They are happy for the role to be based at either their Doncaster office, (DN7) or their Leicester office (LE3).
Starting salary ??13,125 for 25 hours per week
