ABOUT THE ROLE

Supply Productivity is an integral part of the Global Supply strategy which aims to implement sustainable cost reduction initiatives. As a business we want to achieve ‘Leading’ KPI performance across all areas of supply and become the best performing, consumer driven, supply chain. This will be achieved through Functional Excellence; the codification of Plan, Source, Make & Move, and driving a more consumer driven – efficient – end to end supply chain, with the objective of getting each SKU to the consumer, most profitably.

The role is to support the Supply Productivity Leadership team, reporting to the Finance Lead, in ensuring we have clarity and visibility around the performance of Supply Productivity. This will include engagement and relationship with the Global Supply FP&A contacts, with the key finance teams in each of the Global markets; to ensure reporting is consistent, timely and accurate and the senior functional leads and Exec of Global Supply & Procurement.

The role will require support of strategic opportunities across the business, within the Supply Productivity agenda, including, but not limited to, financial support for business case submissions and participation in strategic project teams that form as a result of strategic opportunities identified.

Support will be given to the whole agenda of Supply Productivity and Organisational Effectiveness.

KEY RESONSIBILITIES 

  • Participation in the setting of Global Supply CoGS targets in line with 1% better than flat YoY ambition
  • Tracking and reporting of the Supply Productivity numbers, benefit and cost, across all 26 markets – ensuring transparency of performance v plan and working with markets to understand variances, and ensuring standardization of reporting
  • Support the wider Supply Productivity programme and Leadership Team
  • Supporting decision-making with accurate and well-evidenced analysis
  • OE financial support 

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Finance background preferred 
  • Strong drive to contribute to efficiencies and cost savings that under pin the success of the Supply Productivity strategy.
  • Ability to work within a team, as well as a drive to work individually – ensuring deadlines and targets are met.
  • A strong, engaging, approach is necessary to deal with contacts from all the markets to ensure transparency and co-operation from all.
  • Ability to take ownership 
  • Commercial finance background advantageous
