People and Culture HR Administrator
Permanent Part-Time (20-25 hours per week- over 4 or 5 days cover)

Role purpose

The People & Culture Administrator will act as the first port of call to the internal workforce (predominantly located in UK, France, US and some workers in other global locations) and external partners for all People & Culture related queries.

As a priority, the People & Culture Administrator will handle the majority of employee/worker documentation, including contracts, recruitment paperwork and onboarding.

A good understanding and working knowledge of the related UK employment law is key. Exposure to other regions including US, France and remote worker management would also be beneficial.

You will also be responsible for maintaining our People & Culture systems (we use Bamboo HR) so a good grasp of technology is essential.

Bring your fresh eyes; our team is always looking for new ways to make sure our processes work for both our people and the business. The right person for the role will be willing to get stuck in and support the team in a variety of areas so be able to roll your sleeves up and be flexible.

Duties and responsibilities

  • As the People team's first point of contact, you'll manage and ensure a timely response for the people team inbox (internal emails from employees/workers)
  • Taking charge of people onboarding, issuing contracts, checking, copying and storing employment documents in line with our processes, and coordinating inductions
  • Auditing and checking our global employee records via our HRIS system, BambooHR to ensure accurate data is maintained and any changes updated
  • Flexibility to support your manager and team on discrete projects/ ad hoc tasks as required and provide backup for People Managers on specific tasks when required

Essential Skills

Qualifications and experience

    • Excellent HR administrative skills, with experience of providing HR administrative support in a fast-paced environment - ideally with experience in an international company
    • Understanding and experience of HR systems and processes (BambooHR ideally)
  • Excellent communication skills (fluency in written and spoken English - French in addition would be highly desirable)
  • Competent and comfortable in excel to provide reporting on spend, KPIs etc to team and managers
  • Outstanding organisational skills: you'll be able to manage your own time, juggle many tasks without sacrificing quality.
  • Heaps of common sense, a can-do attitude and willingness to muck-in with the team.
  • Empathetic and mature in your response to any issues that require a cool head.

Desirable Skills

  • Ideally French as a second language.
